OUT NOW Nick Dunston - COLLA VOCE: Praylewd (OOYH 027.1)

Surprise release day!! This has been in the works for a while now, but we are so pumped to release the LP-only COLLA VOCE: Praylewd (OOYH 027.1), which is the continuation of Nick Dunston’s incredible Afro-Surrealist anti-opera project COLLA VOCE. Nick took the stems from the COLLA VOCE sessions, and remixed them into two 15-minute tracks (Side A: Phoenix // Side B: Ouroboros) to create an entirely new album (see the liner notes in slide three). The full tracks are only available on the LP, and we’ve released a single edit for Ouroboros digitally as well.

LPs are in stock and shipping today. Signed test pressings are up and come with a very limited COLLA VOCE sticker, designed by TJ Huff (as is all the COLLA VOCE art). TJ cut up the original art to make Praylewd, in a similar way to how Nick remixed the album. We are thrilled with how this all turned out! Stay tuned for a Wax Mage announcement, these are a doozy.

This is Nick’s 6th album on Out Of Your Head Records, and he is an artist that we hold in the highest regard. Every release truly blows our minds, and we feel very lucky that he trusts us to help get this music out into the world.
