OUT NOW! We’re so excited to officially release Laura Cocks - FATHM today on LP + CD + digital, our first split release with the great Relative Pitch Records. From the moment we hit play on the first track, we were completely blown away by what Laura is doing on this solo flute album. For us it ranks up there with the truly great modern solo albums in the improvised/creative music world. 9 very different tracks, all showcasing the outer extremes as to what is possible on the instrument. LP is through OOYH, CD through Relative Pitch, and check out Laura’s Bandcamp for super limited handmade LP/CD (50 each, then they are gone), which will be done and shipping over the next few weeks. In Laura’s words “each will be made-to-order with hand-done embellishments of resin and sand, lovingly and safely collected from lake michigan and the brooklyn coast.” We can’t wait to see these!
